Early Life and Education
Ramgopal Suthar was born on 1 October 1959 in Shri Dungargarh, located in the Bikaner region of Rajasthan. He belongs to the Suthar (Vishwakarma) community, Dhanerwa gotra. His parents were Narayani Devi and Kishanaram Suthar. He is the second among seven siblings. He completed his higher secondary education in 1976.
Career
After completing his education, Suthar chose to pursue business instead of entering government service. Alongside his professional activities, he became involved in social and community work, which eventually led to his entry into politics.
Political Career
Ramgopal Suthar serves as the Minister of State, Government of Rajasthan and the Chairman of the Shri Vishwakarma Kaushal Vikas Board. Suthar has also been recognized as a star campaigner for BJP during Rajasthan bye-elections.

The Shri Vishwakarma Kaushal Vikas Board is a government-supported organization established by the Government of Rajasthan to promote skill development and employment among traditional artisans. The board operates under the Department of Skill, Planning, and Entrepreneurship, Government of Rajasthan.
Under Suthar's leadership as Chairman, the board has prioritized integrating traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies to enhance artisan competitiveness and promote skill development for youth employment. A key collaboration involves partnerships with institutions like the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) in Jaipur.
Personal Life
Ramgopal Suthar resides in Shridungargarh, Rajasthan. He is married to Godavari Devi.
